The third and final phase of a three-summer home transformation, this project focused on reimagining the primary bedroom as a private luxury retreat. Inspired by the world's most exceptional hotels, the vision was to create a space that feels luxurious yet deeply comfortable, with a timeless and traditional sensibility.
While a refined aesthetic was paramount, functionality was equally important. Through a complete reconfiguration of the layout, we created an effortless flow between the bedroom, spa-inspired bathroom, and separate dressing rooms.
Exquisite finishes, tailored details, and thoughtful planning come together to create a sanctuary that feels worlds away.
A subdued palette of soft neutrals establishes a sense of calm throughout the bedroom. Rich linen fabrics on the custom drapery and upholstered bed bring warmth and texture to the painted shiplap walls and cabinetry.
Small details elevate the everyday experience. A concealed pull-out tray offers the perfect place for a morning coffee or evening tea.
The bathroom was designed with intricate details to evoke the feeling of a destination spa retreat. At its center, the steam shower stands as a work of art in its own right. Fabricated entirely from marble slabs with elaborate DuPont edge profiles, it showcases an extraordinary level of craftsmanship.
A sculptural soaking tub framed by detailed millwork brings timeless architectural character to the room. Marble sinks, paired with Waterworks fixtures, lend a sense of heritage and permanence to the space.
